Studio Policies

Setting the Stage for Success

At RG Performing Arts Studio, we believe in creating a harmonious environment that fosters growth, discipline, and excellence. Our policies are designed to ensure that every student, parent, and instructor has a clear understanding of our expectations and commitments. By adhering to these guidelines, we can ensure a smooth, productive, and enjoyable experience for all. Whether you’re joining us for private lessons, group dance classes, or any other program, these policies will guide our journey together. We appreciate your cooperation and dedication to upholding these standards.

Private Lessons

  1. Lessons will be billed monthly on the 1st, to be paid in full by the 10th of each month. You may pay directly through the digital invoice link, or in person. The studio accepts cash, check, paypal, or credit card. There will be a 3% processing fee added for credit card transactions. Checks should be made payable to: RG Performing Arts Studio. Post-dated checks will not be accepted. Clients are responsible for all fees associated with returned checks. All clients are required to keep a credit card securely on file, even though they may choose to pay via any of the above means.
  2. Non-payment, declined payments, canceled payments etc. can result in forfeiting your time slot with the instructor. Please communicate any payment scheduling needs with the studio. We are happy to work with clients’ individual needs as long as there is excellent communication. Accounts left unpaid for 30 days without communication from the client will automatically be charged to the credit card on file. In the event that charge is denied, delinquent accounts will be turned over to collections and services will be paused.
  3. Payments are non-refundable. Missed lessons are handled as follows:
    • Lessons missed without notice are forfeited without refund or make-up.
    • Lessons canceled with a minimum of 2 hours notice will be offered a make-up lesson, to be completed within the month missed, or will be credited toward the next invoice.
    • Any lessons canceled with fewer than 2 hours notice, will be at the discretion and schedule availability of the instructor to make up or credit.
    • Any lessons needing to be canceled by the instructor, or due to severe weather will be guaranteed a make-up lesson or account credit.
    • Unused credit/overpayment expires one year from the date of issue. We do not provide cash refunds, only services rendered.

Dance Classes

  1. Monthly tuition for dance classes is billed on the first of the month and due by the 10th. Class fees are non-refundable and will not be prorated if classes with the session are missed. Please consider any schedule conflicts before registering.
  2. Dance shoes and appropriate clothing, as directed by the instructor, must be worn at all times during class. Bare feet, socked feet, or street shoes are not permitted for class.
  3. Medical conditions, or any injuries that may prevent a student from being able to fully participate in class, MUST be reported to the instructor immediately so that safety modifications can be made. RG Performing Arts Studio and all associated instructors are not liable for injuries sustained as a result of not following all directions of the instructor.
  4. Tuition does not include additional materials that students may require (such as dance shoes, recital costume etc).
  5. If a class must be canceled due to inclement weather or instructor illness, a make-up date will be offered.
  6. Dance instructors may establish additional rules that differ from class to class.

Student Conduct

  1. Our students are held to the highest of artistic and personal standards. If a behavior issue does arise, we will promptly discuss with a parent/guardian. A repeated issue can result in removal from the studio. There is a zero tolerance policy for bullying, or any unkind interactions between students in class settings.
